Waukesha County · Lake Country
Built here. Not shipped in from somewhere else.
This is the home region. Pfeiffer Digital is a Wisconsin AI automation company based in Oconomowoc, building custom AI voice agents, website chatbots, and back-office document automation for service businesses across Waukesha County. Founded by Jon Pfeiffer, Pfeiffer Digital builds and runs these systems rather than handing over a roadmap.
Most businesses around here are owner-operated and small enough that everyone wears three hats. There is no dispatcher, no front desk, and no marketing department. When the owner is under a sink, the phone rings out. That is a different problem from the one a hundred-person company has, and it gets a different answer.
Built by an operator in Wisconsin, not an app
You can buy an AI receptionist as a subscription today. You sign up, paste in your business hours, and discover three weeks later that it cheerfully quoted a price you do not charge and booked a job in a town you do not serve. Nobody is watching it. Nobody fixes it unless you file a ticket.
The alternative is someone who lives twenty minutes away, who builds the thing around how your business actually runs — your service area, your after-hours rules, what counts as an emergency and what can wait until Tuesday — and who is still responsible for it once it is live. That is the whole model here: build it, then run it.
For a Lake Country shop that means an in-person kickoff is realistic, that changes do not go through a support queue, and that the person who set it up is the person who answers when something needs adjusting mid-season.
Communities served
Service area, not client locations — these are the towns within easy reach for an in-person start.
What a small shop usually starts with
One job, done properly. Almost nobody should start with four systems. The usual first build is a voice agent covering after-hours and overflow calls, because that is where the lost revenue is most obvious and easiest to measure.
Then the website. A chatbot that asks the two or three qualifying questions before a visitor closes the tab, so the quiet half of your inbound stops disappearing.
Paperwork last. Once the phone and the site are covered, invoice and PO processing takes the supplier documents off your kitchen table — extracted and matched, with you reviewing the output before anything lands in your books.
