From 800+ units to one intelligent resident experience system.
Pfeiffer Digital built Penkert Pulse — a custom platform connecting Rent Manager, resident lifecycle surveys, private feedback, Google reviews, AI-generated responses, management approvals and portfolio-wide reporting across 19 properties. When routine work can be handled safely, AI handles it. When human judgment matters, management takes over.

Rent Manager integration
The problem
Penkert Properties manages 800+ units across 19 properties. Resident feedback was happening everywhere, follow-ups depended on staff remembering them, reviews needed constant attention, and property data lived in separate systems.
What we built
Instead of another generic subscription, Pfeiffer Digital built a custom platform that connects to the tools and data Penkert already uses and automates the work between them.
One system built around the resident lifecycle
Rent Manager integration identifies key events across resident and lease records and triggers follow-ups automatically: move-in, completed maintenance, lease renewal and move-out. The integration is deliberately read-only, so it never modifies Penkert's source records.

AI-powered Google review management
New Google reviews are imported, matched to the right property, analyzed and routed by management-approved rules. A new 5-star review with written feedback gets a personalized AI response based on what the resident actually said and is published to Google automatically. Reviews without comments get a rating-aware response.
Reviews rated 1–4 stars with written feedback are never auto-published. The system drafts a suggested response and alerts management to review, edit, approve and publish.
Property-specific intelligence
Verified information for all 19 properties plus the corporate profile means responses reference the right property and, for lower-rated reviews, the actual management office phone and email instead of invented or generic contacts. Automatic publishing is blocked when required information is not verified.
Management stays in control
A central Response Center shows reviews needing attention, AI drafts, private feedback, publishing status and history. Automatic responses are validated first for an existing owner reply, duplicate attempts, property mapping, verified contact information and eligibility. Historical reviews are protected from being processed as new when integrations sync.
